Select Special Terms of service (ToS)

1. General Information

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Select Special (“Product”), provided by Cellstronaut (“We,” “Us,” “Our”). By installing or using the Product, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Product.

Product Overview: Select Special is an add-on for Google Sheets, accessible via the Google Workspace Marketplace. It enables users to find and select specific cells in spreadsheets.

Permissions: Upon installation, the Product requests the following permissions:

  • Access to the load external resources to Google Sheets add-on user interface.
  • Read-only access to spreadsheets.
  • Access to the active spreadsheet only during user-initiated sessions.

2. Eligibility

The Product is available for private individuals and businesses.

  • Minimum Age: Users must be 21 years or older. (Note: If such an age restriction conflicts with local law, the minimum age requirement will be the legally permissible age.)
  • Future Changes: We reserve the right to introduce commercial-use restrictions or fees for businesses in the future.

3. Restrictions on Use

By using the Product, you agree to the following:

  1. Prohibited Actions:

    • You must not redistribute, modify, or resell the Product.
    • You must not use the Product for unlawful, anti-humanitarian, spamming, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful purposes, as determined by the laws of your country of residence.

  2. Compliance: Ensure your use of the Product complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

  3. Acceptance of Risk: The Product is provided “as is.” You use it at your own risk. See Section 8 for more details.

4. Commercial Use

For time after the Product’s release, it is free for all users, including commercial entities.

  • Future Policy: We reserve the right to introduce fees or subscription requirements for business or commercial use at our discretion.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Currently, no refunds or cancellations apply as the Product is provided free of charge.

6. Privacy and Data Handling

Your privacy is important to us. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal or analytical data.

  • Access to Data: The Product only reads spreadsheet data during user-initiated actions.
  • No Offline Access: The Product does not retain access to your data once the session ends.
  • No External Transmission: The Product does not transmit data outside Google Apps Script or your browser environment.

7. Ownership and Licensing

All intellectual property rights, including the Product’s code, design, and brand, remain the exclusive property of Cellstronaut.

  • User License: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product.
  • Restrictions: Users may not modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Product without express permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any damages, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Product.
  • Support, feature requests, and bug fixes are provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Jurisdiction: All disputes arising under these Terms will be governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
  • Resolution: Disputes will be resolved through arbitration unless local laws require otherwise.
  • Third-Party Rights: Any trademarks mentioned within the Product belong to their respective owners. No infringement is intended.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users are responsible for reviewing the latest version. Continued use of the Product constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

11. Donations

The Product may include an option for voluntary donations to support development. Refunds for donations are subject to the policies of the payment platform used.
